I didn't start wildDesert because I had a five-year plan.
I started it because I couldn't imagine spending another year asking someone if I could have two weeks off work. Oh and (ahem) the world shut down.
So after more than ten years working across administration, marketing and customer experience, I backed myself.
Turns out...
Backing yourself is equal parts exciting and mildly terrifying.
Since then, I've worn more hats than a country music festival.
I've written websites.
Designed brands.
Built email automations.
Mapped customer journeys.
Filmed content.
Launched offers.
Learnt more tech platforms than I'd care to admit.
and here’s the crazy thing…
People don't usually come to me because they desperately need a website.
Or because they're dying to learn how to set up a Flodesk workflow.
Or because they've always dreamed of spending their Saturday afternoon figuring out why their bloody automation isn't working.
They come to me because they're stuck.
They've got too many ideas bouncing around their head.
They know something needs to change, but they can't quite work out what.
They're tired of opening another Google tab, watching another tutorial, and becoming a complete beginner at yet another platform.
And sometimes they just need someone to sit down with them and say,
“Right. Let's sort this out.”
